Only a kiss



Qasim is a Scotch young man of Moslem origin. It is a good disc jockey and carried away of the music. It dreams of opening an own club with his better friend, Hamid, a dream that takes very seriously. He has studied accounting, but he does not want to practise. His parents, Tariq and Sadia, emigrated to the United Kingdom in the sixties, proceeding from Pakistan. In Glasgow, where the family has established itself, they have a shop of foodstaffs and press. Tariq and Sadia, devout Muslims, has decided that Qasim should marry his premium Jasmine, the favorite niece of Sadia. The wedding must be celebrated to a few months, and Tariq is doing a work of amplification of his house in order that the pair lives there. Qasim has two sisters: Rucksana, the major one, knows a young man of the pleasure of hi parents, with which it will come to To promise. The small one, Tahara, of eighteen years, is the most direct of the family; typical rebellious Scot, is finishing his secondary studies in a catholic nearby institute. One of his its,teachers is Roisin, a young woman who gives lessons of music. When Qasim and Roisin knows himself, they sit a strong attraction and they begin a relation privately. For them, which he is Moslem and catholic she does not suppose any problem, but soon one sees clearly that the religious and cultural differences yes it are for other persons, specially for Qasim's family.
